Welcome to The Lindens
The Lindens is a Steiner Waldorf Early Years setting for children aged nearly 3 years to 6 years old. In our two kindergarten groups, we nurture a caring atmosphere with a focus on learning through play, in a location at the heart of a friendly community.
We are located on Lower Street within walking distance of Stroud's town centre, in a Georgian home in an urban conservation area that has been a part of the Steiner Waldorf Early Years community for 35 years.
We also have a beautiful garden that the children spend time in every day. Here they can move freely and explore the outdoor world. There is a vegetable patch, a straw-bale play house, a sand pit, and a mud kitchen.

We also offer Parent and Child groups to support young families with children up to the age of 3. These 2-hour sessions are held on Monday to Thursday mornings, and follow a similar rhythm to the kindergarten morning where the young children will experience: outdoor play, activity, free play, snack time and a short story.
